How a single repair counter in 2010 became an IT services business covering 12 localities across Pune and PCMC.
Our Story
Vilas Dokhe opened Computer House in 2010 out of a small shop in Wakad, at a time when the neighborhood was still more farmland than IT corridor. The work started simple: desktop repairs, a bit of hardware sales, the occasional printer that wouldn't stop jamming. Customers were mostly homes and small local offices, and word travelled the way it does in a growing suburb — one fixed laptop at a time.
As Wakad and the surrounding belt changed — Hinjewadi's IT parks filled in, Baner and Ravet grew into dense residential pockets, and the industrial units in Chinchwad MIDC and Bhosari MIDC expanded — Computer House's customer base changed with it. Offices started asking not just for a repair, but for a maintenance contract. Factories wanted CCTV coverage across their floor, not just a camera at the gate. Schools and small businesses needed attendance tracking that didn't involve a paper register.
Rather than staying a single-service repair counter, Computer House grew into its current shape: computer and laptop sales and repair, printer service, CCTV installation and maintenance, and time attendance systems — all under one roof, with Annual Maintenance Contracts for businesses that need predictable, scheduled service instead of a call only when something breaks.
What hasn't changed is the basic approach: show up, diagnose honestly, tell the customer what it'll cost before starting, and fix it right the first time. That's as true for a single home laptop repair in Ravet today as it was for the first few customers who walked into the Wakad shop back in 2010.

Computer House serves homes and businesses across 12 localities within ~25 km of Wakad, offering all five service lines with AMC plans for offices, schools, and factories.
